Compositional Notes (Dave)
In Tolkien's legendarium, Yavanna planted the first seeds of life on Arda and was responsible for all things that grow. She sometimes took the form of a tree, and it is rumoured that if you listen carefully you can hear her songs when the wind blows through the trees.

This was a demo by Dan. I liked it because it sounds magical and carefree. Sometimes we make beautiful things because we hold them lightly. That is often the power of a demo track: it captures a raw moment of joyful creativity. So, everything you hear on there is Dan’s original demo, apart from the acoustic guitar solo at the start, which I added afterwards.

Listeners guide
You’re walking through the forest. You hear Yavannas song in the trees. Then you see elves singing and playing as they walk together. You follow and watch from a distance. And then they are gone. You’ve had a rare glimpse. You will remember it forever, and somehow you feel changed by it.
