Composition notes
Water seems almost magical in its properties! And the seemingly infinite vastness of the sea has inspired countless songs.

In this song I was going for the kind of oceanic sound you might get if you crossed Iona’s Book of Kells with Devin Townsend’s Ocean Machine albums. I improvised the synth chords and the rest of the track was born from there.
It was a real joy to capture a bit of that Book of Kells magic with IONA’s Dave Fitzgerald playing Sax on this track.

Imagine sailing on the sea heading towards the horizon, where the sun meets the sea. Think about the sea water falling like rain , then becoming the river that flows back to the sea. What makes you feel renewed?
